Biography

Born in Paris, he has extensively traveled to all continents and lived in different countries starting from his childhood. 

Interiors and still life gouaches are his very first attempt to painting, soon replaced by oil portraits while a teenager in Argentina with his first exhibition at the Alliance Française of Buenos Aires. 

His years of University in France and Italy, are marked by an intensive creation of oils while experiencing different styles and new techniques. He participates to some exhibitions along with his fellow artists in Rome, where he graduates in Political Science at the LUISS University.  

After a short stay in New York during which he works mainly on drawings, he travels to the Philippines and Indonesia, resulting in some impressionist works. 

His artistic production reaches maturity in Colombia in his early thirties, capturing the chromatic diversity of the Andean landscapes.  He marries an artist master puppeteer and has three children.

He spends the following decade in West Africa and in the Far East marked by abstract works. He returns living to Argentina, then to Brazil and Kazakhstan. In 2005 he resumes his artistic activity in his countryside home in France. From 2007 till end of 2020 he lives in Saudi Arabia, attending a solo exhibition at Dama Art Gallery (January 2015) and to the Art Nations exhibition at the Saudi Art Center (April 2019), in Jeddah.

He now shares his time between his countryside home in France and the island of Mafia in Tanzania.
